To provide our services, we collect the following types of information:

A. Personal Information You Provide:

• License and Activation Data: When you purchase a subscription and activate the Extension, we collect your license key and generate a unique instance_id to validate your access. This data is processed through our secure backend server to verify your subscription status.
• Payment Information: We do not directly collect or store your payment card details. All payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Lemon Squeezy. Their privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information.

B. Non-Personal and Technical Information:

• Service Usage Data: When you use the Extension's features (such as Batch Analysis or Auto Mode), we send your requests (like listing IDs, search terms, or shop names) to our backend server. Our server uses this information to fetch, process, and return the analytics data (like demand metrics, sales, etc.) that you see in the Extension and Dashboard.
• Locally Stored Data: The Extension stores some of your settings and data locally on your device using chrome.storage.local. This includes your license key, user preferences (like filter settings), and cached data to improve performance. This data is not sent to our servers unless required to perform a function you request.
• Analyzed Data: The core function of the Extension is to analyze publicly available information on etsy.com. We do not collect any private or non-public data from your Etsy account.

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

• To Provide and Maintain the Service: To verify your license, activate your access to features, and deliver the analytics data you request.
• To Process Payments: To facilitate transactions through our payment processor, Lemon Squeezy.
• To Improve Our Service: To understand how users interact with the Extension, to debug issues, and to develop new features.
• To Provide Customer Support: To respond to your questions and resolve issues.

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal identification information to others. We may share information with third parties only in the following ways:

With Third-Party Service Providers:

• Payment Processing: We share transaction information with Lemon Squeezy to process your payments.
• Backend Hosting: Our backend services are hosted on Render. They provide the server infrastructure needed to run our license activation and data analysis APIs.

For Legal Compliance:

• We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities.

5 Data Storage and Security

We use commercially reasonable measures to protect your information. Your license key and instance ID are stored securely on our backend server. The analytics data you generate (the results) are primarily stored locally in your browser's storage and displayed in your local dashboard.

While we strive to use acceptable means to protect your data, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.

6 Children's Privacy

Our service is not directed to anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
